Calling all Partners!

Well, we are officially underway with our new model. We hired Linda Miller Krynski, former director of the Pace School among other impressive endeavors, to act as our “Program Officer” for our first Investee Pitch Opportunity coming up in April (the date is still TBD).  She has started to reach out to her contacts in the community to identify organizations that may have an interest in working with PSVP.

As you may recall, our new process laid out a structure by which the Program Officer would narrow the field of candidates for a Steering Committee made up of PSVP partners who would then review and recommend two non-profits to present at the event.  This first event has a focus on Education.

I am now officially recruiting…. Any and all interested in participating on this committee, please let me know.  The time commitment should be minimal as the new model streamlined our process in an effort to save partner and non-profit time/energy on the front end.  The committee should not need to meet more than twice in a two month period. If you have an interest in engaging with an organization in this round of giving, you should most definitely join this committee.
